Avionics

Challenge Air has been delivering Avionics and Electrical Design and Analysis projects for major Southern African civil aerospace operators for more than 20 years. Today, Challenge Air provides the complete in-house solution, from project management, to initial concept design through to final certification support.

The Avionics and Electrical department has the ability to provide support at all levels and is brought together to form multi-disciplined teams with experience and technology to interface with the client, on or off-site.

The department retains the services of skilled designers and engineers, covering the disciplines of Avionics and Electrical Design, Installations, Repairs, Modifications and analysis.

Challenge Air is approved to classify modifications as Minor or Major. Major modifications require an STC and Challenge Air will design, submit to CAA, assist with testing and inspections as required, and ensure STC certification in as short a time as possible.
